Thecityreportnews@Durg. शासकीय डॉ. वामन वासुदेव पाटणकर कन्या स्नातकोत्तर कन्या महाविद्यालय दुर्ग में नवरात्रि पर्व के विशेष अवसर पर नृत्य विभाग द्वारा गरबा स्पर्धा का शानदार आयोजन किया गया। नृत्य विभाग की विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ.ऋचा ठाकुर ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि प्रतिवर्ष गरबा स्पर्धा का आयोजन विगत 4 वर्षो से निरंतर किया जा रहा है।
जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में छात्राओं की भागीदारी इसकी लोकप्रियता को प्रदर्शित करता है विजेता समूहों को रनिंग ट्रॉफी के साथ पुरस्कार भी दिए जाते हैं। देशी डे के नाम पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि शासकीय विज्ञान महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ.आर. एन. सिंह थे। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि इस तरह के आयोजन से प्रतिभाओं को प्रोत्साहन मिलता है।
महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. सुशील चन्द्र तिवारी ने कहा कि हमारी संस्कृति, परम्परा को सहेजना और युवा पीढ़ी को परिचित कराना ऐसे आयोजन उसे सार्थक बनाते हैं। उन्होंने छात्राओं की बड़ी संख्या में सहभागिता पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि प्रदर्शनात्मक कला के विकास से व्यक्तित्व के विकास का उद्देश्य पूर्ण होता है।
आज की स्पर्धा में नृत्यांजलि समूह ने सर्वप्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया जबकि मां शादरा एवं चण्डिका समूह क्रमश द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। रासबिहारी समूह को सांत्वना पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न कक्षाओं में प्राविण्य सूची में स्थान प्राप्त करने वाली छात्राओं को सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर अर्थशास्त्र विभाग के द्वारा आयोजित नेट परीक्षा के सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार दिया गया। इस अवसर पर बड़ी संख्या में छात्राओं ने अपनी भागीदारी निभाई।
प्रतियोगिता के निर्णायक राजेन्द्र सोनगरिया, विभा कसेर एवं पूजा उपाध्याय थे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ.ऋचा ठाकुर एवं रिया कुशवाहा ने किया।
Thecityreportnews@ On the special occasion of Navratri festival, a grand Garba competition was organized by the dance department at Government Dr. Vaman Vasudev Patankar Girls Post Graduate Girls College, Durg. While giving information, Head of Department of Dance, Dr. Richa Thakur said that Garba competition is being organized every year continuously for the last 4 years.
The participation of a large number of girl students reflects its popularity. The winning groups are also given prizes along with running trophies. The chief guest of this program organized in the name of Country Day was Dr. R., Principal of Government Science College. N. Was a lion. In his address, he said that such events encourage talents.
Principal of the college, Dr. Sushil Chandra Tiwari said that such events make it meaningful to preserve our culture, traditions and to introduce them to the young generation. Expressing happiness over the participation of a large number of girl students, he said that the development of performing arts serves the purpose of personality development.
In today’s competition, Nrityanjali group stood first while Maa Shadra and Chandika groups stood second and third respectively. Rash Bihari Group received consolation prize. On this occasion, girl students who secured places in the merit list in various classes were felicitated.
On this occasion, awards were given to the best participants of the NET examination conducted by the Department of Economics. A large number of girl students participated in this occasion.
The judges of the competition were Rajendra Songaria, Vibha Kaser and Pooja Upadhyay. The program was conducted by Dr. Richa Thakur and Riya Kushwaha.
